What batteries should be used for the digital locks?
There are 2 types. The locks either use AA batteries or it comes with rechargeable lithium batteries.
How will I know if the batteries are 'low batt'?
There will be a LED indicator shown on the screen of the lock indicating low battery.
What if I forget to change the batteries and the power is totally flat?
1) Inside the house - manual over-ride knob to unlock the door.
2) Most of the smart locks can be powered up by a micro USB or USB-C cable with power bank. You can key in your pin or fingerprint after powering up the lock.
What happens if I lose 1 of the card for my digital lock?
If you lose 1 of the card, you are able to delete the cards via the lock panel or with the smart app control.
Can I unlock gate and door lock with just 1 card?
Yes, it is possible.
How long is the warranty period?
There is a 1 year warranty against the product. There is a 1 year onsite warranty when installed by Smart Home.
Subject to any statutory provisions to the contrary, this Warranty excludes any and all claims for loss or damage suffered through the use of or resulting from the non – operation or ineffective operation of the product or any part thereof including loss or damage to furniture, carpets, walls, foundations and property of whatsoever description or any other consequential loss or damage either directly or indirectly due to negligence, loss of use, malfunction, defect, damage, breakdown or leakage from the product whatsoever and howsoever arising.
Subject to any statutory provisions to the contrary, the liability of Smart Home for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly from any defects in the product supplied (whether caused by negligence or otherwise) or for loss or damage suffered through the use of or resulting from the non – operation or ineffective operation of the product or any part thereof shall be limited to the replacement or repair of such product or part thereof or to damages not exceeding the invoice value of said product at the option of Smart Home.
